Last night was the big Black and White Halloween bash, and we had quite a good time!

We tracked down these aquarium castles at a thrift store, and sprayed them black. They were the perfect addition to our decor.

Here we are just as I got the fire started int he living room.

It was such an incredible October day that we felt like we needed to leverage the backyard, but we weren't exactly sure when it would get dark outside. A 4pm start time was a little aggressive. Luckily our friends know by now to not show up for the first 45 minutes (wishful thinking on the time management front… we are always a little behind schedule!)

Paula was born to be Maleficent.

We had a great time. And today we are tired.

Happy Halloween, everyone!
