London is one of my favorite cities. When we took our trip a few weeks ago, Jon had never been, and I was nervous that I had talked the city up too much. Jon fell in love right away as well.
The Lion and the Unicorn are symbols for the United Kingdom - the Lion representing England, and the Unicorn for Scotland. It also just so happens that Jon's favorite animal is a Lion, and everybody knows I love a good Unicorn!
Here are my top 3 things to do in London if you were to go right now.
Shop at Liberty. Nothing unique about this statement, but Liberty is beautiful and exciting and never disappoints. Jon also found Black Willow china while we were there! We definitely came home with a new platter.
Eat at PitCue Co. Barbecue in London? Who Knew? Luckily Jon did. The food is incredible. The cocktails are delicious. The atmosphere is lovely. And it's right across the street from the Red Wing Shoe store! It was perfect!
Go see The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime! The show is absolutely brilliant. I loved the book back in the day, but the stage show did not disappoint. Some of the most clever theater tricks I've seen, with a huge pile of heart. I am so glad we were able to see it.
Finally, here are a couple of really touristy photos I took as well, just to be sure you know I was there!
Next week's doodle will be inspired by our day in Paris!
